Pig trade
Besides the production activities of fattening pigs in Hungary, Hungary Pork Kft. also engages in trading and supplying fattening pigs and piglets for own production as that of third parties.
Manure application
The manure that is produced in the farms of Hungary Pork Kft. is utilized by Hungary Pork Farming and spread on the land of contracted crop farmers. The spreading of the manure is being done by a specially purchased injector. With this injector, the liquid manure can be injected 15 cm into the soil so that the smell is reduces almost completely and the nutrients are maintained for the plants. With this development, the crop farmers save on fertilizers and the land is enriched with organic material.
In the Netherlands, the owners have years of experience with liquid manure. One company, owned by Claudia van Genugten is specialized in this technique.
Hungary Pork Kft. strives for a closed cycle whereby the granes produced on the fields that are being fertilized with liquid manure are being bought for the feeding of the pigs on the farms.
Transportation
The transportation of the pigs, feed and manure is being done by daughter company, Hungary Pork Farming Kft. That company is responsible for the additional activities that support Hungary Pork Kft.
Hungary Pork Farming Kft. has trucks for pigs, feed and manure. HPF also carries out all the feed trading for the own farms and for third parties.
Pig farms
Production of high quality fattening pigs for Hungary and surrounding countries. On the most modern production locations. At our farms strikt hygiene actions are maintained to produce the most healthy pigs possible. That is why we only allow visitors on appointment and one is not allowed inside without showering and wearing company clothing. The management is being done by the manager that is responsible for that production location.
Feed
The pigs in our farms all get liquid feeding. This exists of water, liquid additional products like brewer's yeast, cheese whey, yeast concentrate and ice. Dry products like wheat, barley corn, corn flour, barley flower, soya, turnip and bead are being added to the mixture.
The products are being mixed very carefully and missing minerals and amino acids are added through a core.
The feed, protein and energie yield is tailored to the needs of the animal in its age and growing stage.
Feed and additional products are bought centrally at trusted feeding traders and crop farmers. The origin of these products is known and samples are taken for the analysis of nutritional values.
